What we collect when you contact us
When you submit an inquiry about a trailer, or use our contact form, we collect what you type into the form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your message, and which trailer you were asking about
Along with your message, the form records a small amount of technical information so we know where the inquiry came from and can filter out automated spam:
- The page you submitted the form from, and the site that referred you to us
- Campaign tags in the web address, if you arrived from an advertisement or a link we shared
- Your browser’s user agent string, which identifies the browser and device type but not you personally
- A one way scrambled version of your IP address. We store the scrambled value only. We do not keep your actual IP address, and the scrambled value cannot be turned back into one.
Why we collect it
To answer your question and follow up about the trailer you asked about. That is the only reason. We do not build marketing profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records so we can look up a past conversation if you come back to us. If you would like your inquiry deleted, email or call us and we will remove it.
Who else sees your information
A handful of services help us run the site and respond to inquiries. Each one only receives what it needs.
- Zapier and RingCentral. When an inquiry arrives, the details are passed through Zapier so a text message alert reaches our sales phone. This is how we respond quickly.
- Microsoft Outlook. Inquiry notifications are delivered to our business email.
- CleanTalk. Form submissions are checked against a spam filtering service so automated junk does not reach us.
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. These tell us how many people visit, which pages they read, and which trailers get attention. They do not tell us who you are.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as described above, or if we are legally required to.
Cookies and measurement
The site uses cookies for two purposes: keeping the site working correctly, and measuring traffic through Google Analytics.
When you first arrive you are asked whether to accept non essential cookies. You can decline, and you can change your mind later using the cookie settings link on the banner. Declining does not stop you using the site or contacting us.
Financing applications
The Financing button on our trailer pages takes you to Hearth, a separate company that handles financing applications. Anything you enter there is collected by Hearth under their own privacy policy, not ours. We do not see your application, your financial details, or your credit information.
Links to other sites
Where we link to manufacturers, mapping services, or other outside sites, those sites have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for them.
Your choices
- See what we hold, or have it deleted. Call or email us and we will tell you what we have on file and remove it if you ask.
- Correct something. If a detail is wrong, let us know and we will fix it.
- Opt out of analytics. Decline non essential cookies on the banner, or install the Google Analytics opt out add on.
Children
This site sells trailers to adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date below.
