Where to Buy a Trailer in Southwest Arkansas
If you searched “trailer sales near me” from southwest Arkansas, here is the straight answer about where we are and whether we are worth the drive.
Where we actually are
Little River Equipment Sales is at 242 Little River 157 in Foreman, Arkansas 71836. That is Little River County, in the southwest corner of the state, close to where Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma meet.
Worth saying plainly, because search engines get this wrong: we are not in Little Rock. Central Arkansas is a long haul from here. If you are in Little Rock, there are closer options and we would rather tell you that than waste your afternoon.
Who we usually see
Most of our customers come from the Four States area. That means towns like Ashdown, Texarkana, De Queen, Nashville, Horatio, and Foreman itself, plus folks coming over from Idabel and Broken Bow in Oklahoma and the northeast Texas side around New Boston and Atlanta.
If you are in that radius, we are a short trip rather than a day out.
Why buying local is worth something on a trailer
A trailer is not a thing you want to sort out by email. Three reasons to buy within driving distance:
- You can look at the welds. Photos hide a lot. Walk around it, lift the gate, get under the deck.
- You can hook it to your truck. Coupler size, ball height, and how it sits behind your vehicle are all things you learn in the parking lot, not the listing.
- You know where to come back to. Wiring problems and tire questions come up. That is easier with a dealer you can drive to.
What to bring when you come out
- Your truck, if you can. We can check the door jamb sticker against the trailer you are looking at.
- The weight of the heaviest thing you plan to haul.
- The length of it, with attachments on if it is a machine.
Ten minutes with those three answers usually settles which trailer is right, and just as often rules one out.
Before you drive
Whichever county you live in, you will register the trailer through the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration, so bring your bill of sale home with you. Call ahead at (870) 542-4661. Inventory changes and we would rather tell you what is on the lot today than have you make the trip for something that sold.
See what is in stock right now, or narrow it down by utility, car haulers, equipment, or dump trailers.
